Invisalign is an excellent treatment program that correct gaps, crowded teeth, protruding teeth, crossbites, open bites, overbites, and/or underbites. It is a series of clear, custom aligners, will gradually shift teeth into proper position. They act much like a retainer in that it is made in the form of a slightly flexible tray fitted to your teeth. After 6 to 18 months of Invisalign therapy, you will enjoy a beautiful straight smile. How does Invisalign work?
Each custom tray is slightly different from the others.  As you progress through the series, they will gently and gradually shift your teeth into their proper places.  Normally, you wear each aligner in the series for about two weeks.  How many aligners you go through depends on how much correction your teeth need.  Since each aligner is only slightly different from the last and there are no wires to tighten, you will not feel as much pain as you would with traditional braces.
Are there any diet restrictions?
Another great aspect of this modern approach to teeth straightening is that you can remove them during meals.  That means no more pesky foods getting caught behind brackets!
Will I need to use a retainer after the treatment?
After the treatment is completed it is important to wear retainers to prevent their teeth from moving back. Retainers are worn at night a couple of days a week.
